If there is one
thing that is consistently annoying about computers is that
you often need certain software packages in order to read
other people's files and occasionally a driver update to keep
things running smoothly. We have tried to compile a list of
the most commonly used shareware or freeware programs and
driver resources for your convenience. If there is anything

This is a great site to find just about any free or shareware
program available online. Many of the utilities we have below
can be found and downloaded at download.com.
WinZip - www.winzip.com
This is a file compression program quite common among PC users
on the web. Will open a variety of compressed files, but it's
native format is ".ZIP"
Stuffit
Archiver
- www.stuffit.com
Same deal as WinZip, but stereotypically the Macintosh version.
Stuffit is available for PCs these days though and is a worth
piece of software.
