Search Engines
Everyone who has
used the internet has used a search engine. But not all search
engines were created equal. Below are a few of the better
search engines that we use for specific purposes, and which
will hopefully help you to find what you are looking for all
that much easier.
Google - www.google.com
Hands down the best and most prolific search
engine in the world. Most of the major search engines that
you know of like Yahoo! and Excite use the Google database.
Google Image
Search - images.google.com
If you are looking for images on the web, this is a great
way to find them. Search by keyword as you would normally
do, but the results are thumbnails with links to the original
image and the website where it was found. Great service!
Find Sounds
- www.findsounds.com
Pretty much the same idea as the Google Image Search, but
for sounds. It allows you to refine your searches by file
type, sample rate, resolution, file size, and whether its
stereo or mono.
